G.657.A2 bend-insensitive single-mode optical fiber is available in two outer diameter specifications: 200 µm and 242 µm, and is protected by a special high-performance acrylic resin composite coating.Despite its reduced outer diameter, this optical fiber still exhibits excellent resistance to bending loss. The small-sized optical fiber can effectively reduce pipeline space occupation, enhance cable laying capacity and construction efficiency, making it an ideal choice for broadband deployment in metropolitan area networks and access networks in the construction of an “environment-friendly and energy-saving society”.
